Happy New Year 2018

Feeling Thankful looking back at 2017 and feeling Excited looking forward to 2018.

Here are a few of the miracles of 2017:

Just before delivering her second son, guitarist extraordinaire Shani Inbar and I recorded our first CD as duo BassGuitar, to be produced by Seigo Matsunaga for Shikiori label- Japan.

A new collaboration with Ron Keezer of Really Good Music ,LLC (www.reallygoodmusic.com), led to the publication of new arrangements - watch out as there are more surprises coming soon.

The concerts with the Magnificat Ensemble had a special spirituality to them with Fr. Alberto Pari, Tanya Beltser and Jamil Freij taking care of all the details and all the wonderful musicians giving really everything !

One of the most innovative projects I have ever done was Playing Out of The Box which is Part of the Art Team Program. The entire program is about improvisation. Most gifted composer Shahar Regev (whose piece “The Poet” I have performed four times on our duo tour to Latvia), was my right hand and she was an Inspiration for the faculty and students alike.

For 2018 I am looking forward to:

Recording “Mostly Transcriptions Vol. 3” with great pianist Dmitri Novgorodsky, a new collaboration with fantastic organ player Maria Neishtadt, Improvisations with Saxophone virtuoso Albert Beger and electronic experiments with amazing composer Doron Kaufman.

Last but not least I would like to thank Recording master Avi Elbaz, Video artist Pazit Dank, Web expert Maya Liberman and all the incredible students I had the honor to work with !

Thank You, Thank you , Thank you !

Without you all, 2017 wouldn’t have been the same
